On graduating as a federally certified banking specialist, Mario Kaufmann became a team manager within the present Valiant Bank. In 2000 he moved to the IT Contracting and Permanent divisions of a British IT recruitment specialist in Zurich, focusing on banks and financial service providers. He went on to become a founding partner and managing director of an IT recruitment agency in Bern, where he was responsible for public sector and finance industry accounts. In 2003 he joined a recruitment agency in Zurich working for software consulting firms, industrial SMEs and large banks as an executive consultant.

In the following years Mario extended the IT & Engineering Permanent department to become the largest of the national subsidiary, heading projects for telecommunication companies and entertainment electronics manufacturers. He launched the SAP sector and took on responsibility for pharmaceuticals and finance in Switzerland’s German-speaking region. In November 2008 Mario was appointed CEO and director of the Swiss national subsidiary. Over the following years he reorganised the company and turned it into the market leader for specialist recruitment in Switzerland. In November 2010 he left the company and founded Prime21 AG in Zug with Andri Granziol and Sebastian Booz. Mario launched the SAP division in 2012 and has continued to develop it since. The service portfolio was enhanced by the ERP & CRM systems of other well-known manufacturers in 2016.
